Position Title: Application Engineer
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Direct Hire opportunity located in Englewood, CO
Job Responsibilities:
- Review customers' technical needs and recommend specific product/service solutions in our product area to meet those needs
- Estimate costs and consult with the sales force on technical matters
- Ensure proposed solutions can be integrated with current systems and equipment
- Work with engineers from various departments to resolve problems that arise during and after implementation
- Support and solve customer technical inquiries via phone, email, Webchat and Teams
- Promote products to customers when applicable
- Proactively identify areas to continuously improve Customer Support process
- Develop Digital Technical Support Content to be used online to support customers
- Perform customer service duties such as order entry, quoting, stock checking, invoicing, etc. when needed to prevent additional transfers for customers
- Start to understand and learn products in the Complex Product Line
- Minimum of a 2-year technical degree, 4-year technical degree strongly preferred
- Application experience with sensors and controls for a manufacturer or related industry required
- Machine repair or maintenance experience with industrial equipment a plus
- Ability to learn cutting edge sensors and controls technologies
- 3 years or more of technical support experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000/year
