Position Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on, experienced Production Lead / Supervisor to join our Napa production team. The ideal candidate will be organized, results-driven, and skilled at managing production operations while fostering a positive work environment, maintaining high morale, and ensuring safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor production staff; conduct performance evaluations.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules and monitor workflows to meet deadlines.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes that meet company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and Operations Management to optimize production.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic mechanical repairs on production machinery.
- Promote and enforce a safety-first culture in the workplace.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a Production Lead or Supervisor.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience with basic tools and precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers).
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Strong skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Solid knowledge of production processes, workflow optimization, and quality control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate in mechanics or related field.
- Experience with plastic extrusion, injection molding, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and GMP practices.
