JOB SUMMARY
Our Wilkesboro location specializes in knitting and sewing of hand and arm (PPE) equipment. The Production Associate I supports daily manufacturing operations through basic machine operation, material handling, and process monitoring. This foundational role focuses on developing essential production skills, gaining exposure to key systems, and performing tasks under direct supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards. Job Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn and operate basic computer systems that help monitor production (i.e. Excel, coding machines, Lynq) with guidance.
- Read and follow work orders and job tickets accurately.
- Monitor and operate one machine or process step under supervision.
- Support pack-out operations, including accurate counting and packaging.
- Follow all safety procedures and assist with routine cleaning and equipment upkeep.
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS
- High School diploma or GED preferred; no prior experience required.
- Dependable, coachable, and team-oriented with consistent attendance.
- Ability to follow instructions, ask questions and develop technical skills.
- Basic math and measurement skills with strong attention to detail.
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and stay active throughout the shift.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
