Field Sales Representative

Protect 1 Family is hiring a Field Sales Representative to develop new business throughout the Roanoke area. This is a field-based B2B sales position working with small and mid-sized businesses across a variety of industries.

You’ll work in the field throughout the week, connecting with business owners and decision-makers, developing new client relationships, and introducing workplace benefits to their employees. You’ll develop your territory through direct prospecting, referrals, networking, and consistent follow-up while continuing to serve the clients you bring on.

As your territory grows, so does your book of business, giving you the opportunity to build an established client base and long-term presence in the local business community.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout your assigned territory
• Meet face-to-face with business owners, managers, and other decision-makers
• Schedule appointments and conduct presentations with prospective accounts
• Present benefit options to employees after establishing a new account
• Generate new opportunities through referrals, networking, and local prospecting
• Maintain relationships with the businesses you bring on
• Manage appointments, prospect activity, and client follow-up through our CRM
• Participate in weekly team meetings and sales development

Compensation & Career Development

• First-year earnings range of $72,000–$115,000, with additional performance-based incentives including monthly cash and stock bonuses
