HVAC Installer
Job Requirements:
The Commercial HVAC Foreman is responsible for installation of HVAC units, ductwork, and pipefitting for commercial and industrial application. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Install equipment on HVAC systems.
- Install air ducts.
- Perform pipefitting activities.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Maintain proper documentation for work performed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Safe operation of all equipment/tools.
- Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as walking on uneven surfaces and climbing stairs (multi-story buildings), ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
- Must be detail oriented and organized.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and scheduling requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-5 years experience with HVAC installation.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Must be able to carry/move heavy equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs and perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather.
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, climb, lift, bend, kneel, stretch, and work in high places, on rigging, and in ditches.
- Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends and overnight traveling to meet customer and/or job requirements.
- Strong work ethic.
