Role Description: The Sales and Service Technician is a full-time, on-site/remote role. As the Sales and Service Technician you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales goals, identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and maximizing customer satisfaction. This role involves field service support, including inspections, and performance checks, while documenting service work and preparing reports. Day-to-day activities include responding to customer service requests, diagnosing technical issues, coordinating with internal teams on parts and scheduling, and ensuring safe and compliant work practices. The role also supports by offering technical guidance, explaining product capabilities, and helping customers select appropriate solutions for their applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify potential sales targets and follow them through the sales cycle to meet company revenue objectives
- Log new business opportunities and contacts into the company CRM to ensure accurate sales forecasting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, customer service and engineering, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Generate post visit summaries and reports for Protec clients as well as coordinate with customer care to ensure the job is correctly invoiced.
- Strong hands-on experience with FRP pressure vessels and systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and field service activities, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site.
- Solid customer service capabilities, including clear communication, professionalism, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance practices to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
- Comfort working in industrial and manufacturing environments, following safety protocols and using appropriate PPE.
- Valid driver’s license/passport and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed both domestic & international ~50-60%
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree in a mechanical, industrial, or related field is preferred.
- Basic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and use of service management systems.
- Previous experience in pressure vessels, water treatment, or related industrial sectors is a plus.
