Time Study Technician / Process Improvement Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a Time Study Technician / Process Improvement Specialist to conduct time and motion studies and analyze production workflows. This role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, establishing standard times, and recommending process improvements to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct time and motion studies through direct observation, timing, or video analysis
• Analyze workflow data to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
• Develop and maintain standard times for production tasks
• Recommend and support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Create reports, SOPs, and work instructions
• Collaborate with production managers, engineers, and floor staff
• Train employees on improved processes and methods

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of time study methods, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Six Sigma
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with both management and production teams
