Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them in finding their desired products
- Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences and needs
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Check identification and enforce legal age requirements for alcohol purchases
- Receive and unload deliveries, ensuring all products are properly stored and labeled.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is required.
- Experience in operating a cash register.
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages is an advantage.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and inventory
- Ability to lift/move cases of alcoholic beverages
