What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Coordinator position at Prospira America Corporation?
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
- Provide support on HR initiatives/functions.
- Assist in developing and facilitating Teammate engagement activities.
- Inform appropriate staff of any matters that require intervention or action to gain compliance.
- Evaluation/Administration of compensation structures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists Director of Human Resources with items needing support.
- Support the creation and implementation of policies, procedures and practices within the organization.
- Assists with all internal and external HR related inquiries/requests.
- Coordinate Teammate appreciation events.
- Coordinate the development of individual performance plans to drive excellence within our internal talent pool.
- Create and deliver HR content within internal meeting structures.
- Prepare required reports on time as scheduled.
- Reviews, monitors and reports market trends to ensure that Prospira is competitive with total compensation packages.
- Supports the creation of cultural activities/programs that drive the business forward towards a culture of “Creating Value and Sharing Happiness Together.”
- Prepares correspondence as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
TRAVEL:
< 15% of the fiscal year
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position.
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Four (4) year degree in Business or equivalent education or experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in direct Human Resources areas.
- Proficient computer skills in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and SAP.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 5 years in a progressive Manufacturing HR environment.
