Hourly Compensation: $50–$53

Schedule & Location

• Full-time position

• Opportunity to work 4–5 days per week

• Evening and weekend availability required

• In-person clinical role

• Fast-paced, fee-for-service dental practice

• Daily hygiene schedule of approximately 6–9 patients

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental hygiene services while maintaining a strong focus on patient comfort, safety, and clinical excellence

• Educate and consult with patients regarding their oral health, recommended treatments, and ongoing preventive care needs

• Discuss treatment recommendations and present treatment plans to help patients understand and prioritize their dental care

• Maintain a consistent daily hygiene schedule of 6–9 patients

• Manage unscheduled treatment lists, pending treatment, missed appointments, and follow-up scheduling to support continuity of care and established standards

• Accurately document existing and future treatment needs in patient records

• Obtain and review patient demographics, medical histories, and vital signs

• Capture appropriate intraoral and extraoral photographs and radiographs as needed

• Maintain clear, thorough, and accurate clinical documentation

• Follow established office procedures for patient referrals

• Collaborate with dentists and other team members to coordinate treatment and deliver an excellent patient experience

• Maintain and sterilize hygiene instruments and equipment in accordance with established protocols

• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and applicable infection-control and workplace safety guidelines

• Support the overall success of the practice through teamwork, effective communication, and patient-centered care

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist

• Current Florida Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license required

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain certification

• Experience with digital radiography

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Gentle, empathetic chairside manner with a commitment to patient comfort

• Ability to educate patients and communicate clinical findings and treatment recommendations clearly

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage a full patient schedule in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and high standards of patient care

• Weekend availability

Preferred Qualifications & Traits

• Prior experience with implant dentistry is a plus

• Anesthesia certification preferred but not required

• Proficiency with dental practice management software; Open Dental experience preferred

• Patient-focused approach with strong clinical judgment

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients

• Ability to balance clinical responsibilities with patient education and treatment coordination
