Role Description The Mortgage Consultant role is a full-time position based in the Washington, DC area. In this role, the consultant will guide borrowers through the mortgage process, from initial consultation and application to loan approval and closing, ensuring a clear and supportive experience. Daily responsibilities include assessing borrower needs, explaining available loan products, collecting and reviewing financial documentation, and collaborating with underwriters, processors, and real estate professionals. The consultant will provide proactive customer service, maintain accurate records, follow regulatory and company policies, and work toward individual and team production goals. This position also involves building and maintaining relationships with referral partners and participating in local networking and outreach activities to grow business.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and hands-on experience with Mortgages and Mortgage Lending.
• Relevant state and federal mortgage licensing, or the ability to obtain required licenses within a specified timeframe.
• Prior experience as a mortgage loan officer, mortgage consultant, or in a related residential lending role is preferred.
