Key Responsibilities
- Build the analytical backbone for understanding the true cost of attracting and retaining lending capital, identifying where incentives are inefficient or mispriced
- Extend that analysis to the incentives and reserve/treasury mechanics underpinning the company's stablecoin
- Translate on-chain and off-chain data into clear models and recommendations for the founding team on incentive structure across the ecosystem
- Partner with protocol, growth, and business teams to design rates, rewards, and fee structures that align participant behavior with platform health
- Collaborate with product on experiences and extensions that support new business opportunities and engaged user behavior
- As scope expands: map capital flows across the ecosystem, establish controls ensuring loan documentation and ledger entries reconcile across on-chain and off-chain environments, and own reconciliation across the loan lifecycle
- Strong quantitative and economic modelling skills, with the ability to independently frame and rigorously answer a question like "what does a dollar of capital actually cost us?"
- Prior knowledge of datacenter, GPU financing space
- Strong preference for prior investment banking experience
- A demonstrated track record of turning incomplete, messy data into clear financial and economic analysis with actionable recommendations
- Fluency in incentive design — how pricing, rates, and rewards drive participant behavior in a market or ecosystem
- Comfort acting as a founder-facing thought partner, able to communicate complex analysis simply and persuasively
- 7 years of relevant experience across economics, finance, strategy, quantitative analysis, or fintech
- Comfort working in and around crypto/DeFi mechanics is a plus; willingness to develop fluency quickly is sufficient
- Controller, accounting, or finance-operations experience — particularly reconciling capital flows and building financial controls — is a strong plus, as is prior experience at a high-growth fintech platform
