About the Role:
ProSource People is seeking a motivated and results-driven Industrial Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities, building strong client partnerships, and expanding our presence within the industrial, manufacturing, logistics, and skilled trades markets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify client needs while providing tailored workforce solutions. This position offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships and contribute directly to company growth.
Responsibilities:
β Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research
β Build and maintain relationships with industrial clients, including manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, construction, and energy companies
β Conduct client meetings to understand workforce needs, hiring challenges, and business objectives
β Present staffing solutions and services that align with client goals
β Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking events, and industry connections
β Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through client onboarding
β Partner with recruiting teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client staffing needs
β Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide excellent customer service
β Track sales activity, client interactions, and opportunities within CRM systems
β Meet and exceed individual sales goals and performance objectives
Qualifications:
β Previous experience in business development, outside sales, account management, or staffing preferred
β Experience working within industrial, manufacturing, logistics, construction, or related industries strongly preferred
β Strong ability to build relationships and establish trust with clients
β Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
β Self-motivated with a competitive and goal-oriented mindset
β Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
β Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales tools
