Location: Pasadena, TX
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 30–40 hours per week

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Clerk for a temporary assignment with an established industrial equipment company.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on QuickBooks experience who is comfortable handling daily accounting transactions, entering invoices, matching purchase orders, and recording customer payments.

Candidates must have prior QuickBooks experience and be able to perform routine AP/AR duties with minimal training.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter vendor invoices and bills into QuickBooks accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices to purchase orders (POs) and verify payment information.
• Record and apply customer payments and receipts in QuickBooks.
• Match incoming payments and receipts to bank deposits.
• Review accounting entries for accuracy and resolve basic discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar accounting support role.
• Hands-on QuickBooks experience required.
• Experience entering bills, matching purchase orders, and recording payments.
• Basic understanding of AP/AR processes and accounting transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in an office environment.
