Unarmed Security Officer - 3rd Shift - Full-TimeDuties and responsibilities:Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients. Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premisesCirculate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect propertyGuard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rulesEnforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistanceUnderstand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions. Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures. Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner. This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills. You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer. Physical Requirements:This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to: Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routesWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsMaintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrolsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsThese physical requirements are essential to performing the job successfully.
