ProSearch is seeking a VP Director of Technology for a community-focused bank in Southern Maine. This strategic, high-impact role leads the bank’s technology vision, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations. You’ll guide modernization efforts, champion secure and scalable systems, and build strong partnerships across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology Strategy & Governance
- Build and execute a multi-year IT roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Advise senior leadership on digital banking trends and cybersecurity risks.
- Participate in risk, audit, and strategic planning committees.
IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee enterprise infrastructure, network security, servers, cloud tools, and telecom systems.
- Manage LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity platforms.
- Lead Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure environments.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Strengthen security posture in alignment with FFIEC, GLBA, and NIST frameworks.
- Lead risk assessments, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
- Ensure compliance with federal/state banking regulations.
Vendor, Project & Budget Oversight
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, and service agreements.
- Own the IT budget, capital planning, and cost forecasting.
- Lead major IT projects—upgrades, migrations, and security initiatives.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead a high-performing IT team with a people-first, coaching-centered approach.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture with strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Promote digital literacy, training, and clear communication across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- Preferred: MCSE, CCNA, CISSP, CISM, ITIL.
Experience
- 7 years of progressive IT leadership; 3 in a management role.
- Banking or regulated financial services experience strongly preferred.
- Expertise in infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and compliance.
- Proven history leading complex IT projects and cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills
- Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
- Networking, firewalls, VPNs, VMware, and endpoint management.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FFIEC, ISO).
Working Conditions
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite in Saco, Maine.
- Occasional travel to branches and vendor sites.
- Some after-hours support for upgrades or emergencies.
