We're seeking a Customer Support Consultant to provide technical and account support for customers across a variety of products and services. This on-site full time temporary role in Westbrook, Maine, involves troubleshooting issues, managing customer inquiries, resolving billing or order concerns, and maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Experience Level: Intermediate (2–4 years)
Pay Rate: $20-21/hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer support via phone and email
- Troubleshoot technical, billing, shipping, and order-related issues
- Research customer concerns and provide timely resolutions
- Manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously
- Maintain accurate customer and account records
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
- Build strong customer relationships and de-escalate situations when necessary
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of customer support or technical support experience
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based with extensive phone and computer use
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Occasional extended hours or travel may be required
