Chief Financial Officer

ProSearch is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with international experience for our client in Central Maine. Candidates should be in a commutable distance to Lewiston, Maine. No relocation.

The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of experience leading a finance and operations team within a distributor environment of a large company (over $200M in revenue), strong strategic and technical skills, and proven leadership abilities.

The CFO will play a vital role on the executive leadership team, overseeing the organization’s financial health and strategic financial planning. This person will lead finance and operations teams, boost business performance, and ensure financial compliance and risk management for both domestic and international entities.

The CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management, ranging from basic accounting to oversight of financials for international subsidiaries, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and comprehensive investment and banking operations. Experience with SAP S4/Hana, PCI compliance, and GDPR preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Leads all aspects of financial management, including accounting, forecasting, budgeting, risk, treasury, and compliance across domestic and international operations.
• Oversee the financial well-being of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services, preparing growth plans, and directing staff.
• Develops finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction, and establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
• Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; and implementing change.
• Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plans.
• Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
• Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with the investment community.
• Reports financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing variances, and developing improvements.
• Lead the organization's financial processes and system transformations through the migration to SAP S/4HANA for managing company financial operations.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• MBA or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant certification is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in accounting and financial management practices.
• Experience in a senior management position.
• Proficiency with accounting software and predictive analysis.
• Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
• Experience in large-scale international business transformations is desired.
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4Hana implementations and integration with operational processes is desired.

The annual pay range offered is $250-300k.
