We are seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician / Care Coordinator Representative who can efficiently manage both technical pharmacy tasks and member-facing coordination duties. The ideal candidate will have medical office/pharmacy experience, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle insurance, clinical, and customer service workflows.
Proscript Pharmacy is a closed-door, mail-order pharmacy dedicated to excellent patient care, accuracy, and efficiency. Founded in 2004, Proscript Pharmacy Management LLC is a family owned limited liability company organized under the laws of the state of New Jersey and authorized to do business in the state of New York. It is a licensed, mail-order facility and pharmacy benefit manager. At its core, Proscript specializes in the administration of self-funded health and welfare pharmacy benefit plans sponsored by labor unions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and fill prescription orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage prior authorizations, including gathering documentation from providers and interacting with insurance payers.
- Handle member phone calls—fielding questions about prescriptions, benefits, refills, claim status, etc.
- Manage insurance claims: tracking, resolving rejections, working with providers and billing/finance to ensure reimbursement.
- Perform pharmacy technician duties: inventory management, restocking, checking for expiration, labeling, etc.
- Maintain accurate patient profiles, documentation, and compliance with regulatory, privacy, and safety standards.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives (e.g. accuracy targets, adherence metrics, claims turnaround).
- Assist with administrative tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: providers, pharmacy leadership, billing, and member services.
- Proactively suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
