About the Role
Assists the Radiology Tech with patient triage, patient positioning, exam preparation, and all facets of the patient experience.
Responsibilities:
· Assist radiologic technologists in preparing patients for imaging procedures
· Start and manage intravenous (IV) lines as required for contrast studies, under proper supervision
· Explain procedures to patients and help ensure their comfort and safety
· Transport patients to and from imaging areas as needed
· Prepare and maintain imaging rooms, equipment, and supplies
· Assist with positioning patients under the supervision of a technologist
· Ensure proper infection control and safety protocols are followed
· Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
· Support radiology staff with workflow, scheduling, and administrative tasks
· Monitor and restock supplies to ensure the department runs smoothly
Location
· ProScan Imaging at NCH, Naples, Florida. Primary site with occasional flexibility required.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
