Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as the Assistant Director. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this role will provide crucial support to all program activities and coordinators. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with program coordinators to ensure the successful execution of initiatives.
- Assisting in event planning and execution, from conceptualization to post-event analysis.
- Managing data, grant writing, and website development.
- Maintaining and updating records, including financial data and grant applications.
- Daily coordinating with staff, donors, and volunteers.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of strategic plans.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2 years of experience in a project management role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in managing complicated logistics and timelines.
- Experience in event planning and execution.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and website development.
- Experience in data analysis and grant writing.
- Willingness and availability to work weekends when necessary, especially during event times.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand on feet for extended periods during events.
- Reliable transportation for travel to various event locations.
