Job Description
- Comply with DOT and OSHA health, safety and environmental requirements and follows safety philosophy and procedures developed by the Company including: applicable environmental, health and safety rules, procedures, and accepted safe work practices, the use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems, and the reporting of workplace hazards and injury or illness arising from workplace activities; observes the workplace to identify conditions or behaviors that should be corrected and takes appropriate action.
- Develop a working knowledge of pipeline system operation and layout, controls system design, engineering practices, and the Company’s processes and procedures.
- Monitor and develop reports and analyses on user accounts and security updates for all I&C OT systems.
- Identifies obsolete equipment, Operating Systems, and software, researches alternatives, and performs upgrades or installations of systems at field locations.
- Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems, and develop documentation of policies and procedures to protect the data systems and databases from unauthorized users.
- Research, recommends, and implements changes to procedures and systems to enhance data systems security and develop appropriate security controls to address vulnerabilities found during assessments.
- Develop and maintain documentation of network management systems, network topologies and infrastructure diagrams, inventory of computer hardware assets, Microsoft software and versions, Rockwell software licenses including Catalog #, Serial number, dongle ID and license location, and Autosol ACM licenses, assisting in transferring licenses when necessary.
- Utilize Microsoft PowerShell to make mass security changes to HMI and Engineering PC configurations, automate PC patching, and perform other processes as needed.
- Collaborate with the corporate IT Cyber Security Team regarding company policies, procedures, and standards. Develops and provides requested reports and leads the implementation of updates and findings.
- Participate in internal and external auditing for regulatory and compliance, and work with other business units in the organization.
- Ability to actively engage in safe behavior and understand and follow the principles and methods related to pipeline and workplace safety as established by the Company.
- Knowledge of emergency and safety procedures, policies, procedures, equipment operating parameters, and all applicable DOT, EPA, FERC, DHS, and OSHA requirements.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, IIS, PowerShell, and PC Operating System configuration.
- Knowledge of firewall and network security, IDS (intrusion detection systems), and network management tools.
- Knowledge of TSA cybersecurity requirements and regulations for pipelines.
- Skill in project management.
- Manage, track, and analyze information.
- Ability to effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers, and vendors.
- Follow corporate policies and the directions of supervisors.
- Refrain from causing or contributing to the disruption of the workplace.
