Position: Sub Arc Welder

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: Starting at $25/hour

Experience: Prior experience as a sub arc, stick, or combination welder is required. Must demonstrate ability to meet x-ray welding standards.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred; technical welding training or certifications is strongly desired.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm (Ability to work Fridays and OT as needed)

ProRecruiters is seeking a Sub Arc Welder to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Perform high-quality sub-arc, stick, and combination welding on pressure-retaining structures.
• Complete x-ray quality welds meeting client and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine weld placement and measurements.
• Collaborate with inspectors and use technical manuals to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Assist with the assembly and welding of meter skids and gas meter packages.
• Participate in safety initiatives and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Assist with pipe welding, including 20” pipe test roll out and 12” 6G downhill MIG welds.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided. Welders are encouraged to bring their own fitting tools.
• Ability to perform precision welds that meet x-ray inspection standards.
• Skilled in reading and understanding blueprints and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of welding processes, including MIG, stick, and sub arc.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, stand, and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; willing to ask for help or guidance when needed.
