Job Description:
- Perform high-quality sub-arc, stick, and combination welding on pressure-retaining structures.
- Complete x-ray quality welds meeting client and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine weld placement and measurements.
- Collaborate with inspectors and use technical manuals to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Assist with the assembly and welding of meter skids and gas meter packages.
- Participate in safety initiatives and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Assist with pipe welding, including 20” pipe test roll out and 12” 6G downhill MIG welds.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided. Welders are encouraged to bring their own fitting tools.
- Ability to perform precision welds that meet x-ray inspection standards.
- Skilled in reading and understanding blueprints and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of welding processes, including MIG, stick, and sub arc.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, stand, and perform physical tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; willing to ask for help or guidance when needed.
