Proprietio is an AI-powered property management platform for the U.S. market. One system handles rent collection, owner and tenant portals, maintenance and work orders, compliance workflows, payments and portfolio visibility β€” with modular add-ons and upgrades on top. We sell to independent landlords, small-to-mid-sized property management companies, real estate operators, and condo / co-op / HOA boards who are tired of stitching together legacy PMS tools, spreadsheets and point solutions.


Be Proprietio's first dedicated closer: generate and close full-cycle deals across landlords, small-to-mid PMCs and operators, prove a repeatable motion, and turn what works into the playbook the next reps run.


This is not a BDR role.

This is not a traditional SMB closing role.

This is a founding, full-cycle sales role for someone who wants ownership, autonomy and real upside.


Who we're looking for:

We want someone who has already sold property-management software for a living β€” not someone who will learn this market on our dime. The ideal hire is a proven, quota-carrying closer who was a top performer at a competing PropTech platform (Buildium, AppFolio, DoorLoop, RealPage, Yardi, Rentvine, Propertyware, TurboTenant or similar). You speak doors, owners, trust accounting and PMS migrations fluently, you have personally won deals against the incumbents we displace, and you already know how landlords, PMCs and boards buy. This is a senior, full-cycle seat: we are hiring real, demonstrated experience in this exact market β€” not raw potential.


What you'll do:

β€’ Own the full sales cycle: prospect β†’ qualify β†’ demo β†’ propose β†’ negotiate β†’ close.

β€’ Build pipeline through outbound (calls, email, LinkedIn), referrals and industry relationships, on top of inbound.

β€’ Run tailored demos that tie Proprietio's pillars (rent collection, owner/tenant portals, maintenance, compliance, payments, portfolio visibility) to each prospect's pain.

β€’ Help build our GTM playbook: scripts, objection handling, demo flows, segment plays and follow-up sequences.

β€’ Keep a clean, well-prioritized pipeline with a clear next step on every deal.

β€’ Forecast weekly and commit; log win/loss notes on every closed deal.

β€’ Work directly with the founder on positioning, pricing feedback, product insight and sales strategy.


What we're looking for:

β€’ Direct experience selling property-management / PropTech SaaS β€” ideally a proven, quota-carrying closer at a competitor (Buildium, AppFolio, DoorLoop, RealPage, Yardi, Rentvine, Propertyware, TurboTenant or similar). You have sold into this exact market and know how it buys.

β€’ 3 years quota-carrying full-cycle B2B SaaS sales, consistently at/above plan.

β€’ Proven ability to build pipeline from scratch β€” not reliant on inbound or an SDR.

β€’ Strong discovery, demo and follow-up skills; can run a deal solo end-to-end.

β€’ Disciplined with CRM hygiene and forecasting.

β€’ Thrives as the founding sales hire β€” high autonomy, high ambiguity, real ownership.


Bonus points:

β€’ Property management, brokerage or real estate operations background (you have lived the customer's job).

β€’ Early/founding sales hire at a startup before.

β€’ Sold into landlords, PMCs, or condo/co-op/HOA boards.


Compensation:

β€’ Base: $95,000

β€’ OTE (on-target earnings): $190,000

β€’ Equity: available for the right profile (vesting 4 years, 1-year cliff)
