We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of components and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical specifications to verify product conformity.
- Conduct quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and FDA regulations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Utilize vision inspection systems and other advanced measurement tools to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, documenting findings accurately for review and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with production teams to address non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and improve overall quality systems.
- Participate in calibration of measuring instruments such as height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and vision systems to maintain measurement accuracy.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, along with familiarity with GMP and FDA regulations applicable to manufacturing environments.
- Experience with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes within manufacturing settings.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), and vision inspection systems.
- Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and production documentation accurately.
- Excellent analysis skills for identifying root causes of defects and implementing effective solutions.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for precise measurements.
- Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to perform dimensional measurements consistently.
- Effective communication skills for documenting inspection results clearly and collaborating across teams.
