Responsibilities
- Provide med-surg nursing care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures
- Perform tracheostomy care, including suctioning and routine tube maintenance
- Monitor telemetry patients, tracking vital signs and cardiac activity in real-time
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
- Float between departments as needed to meet patient care demands
Credentials
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of med-surg nursing experience in a hospital setting
- At least 2 years of tracheostomy care experience, including suctioning and tube maintenance
- 2 or more years of telemetry monitoring experience
