What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Technician - Central Ohio Area position at Property Worx LLC?
Property Worx LLC is looking for irrigation technician to take care of our commercial and residential contracts in the central Ohio area.
We need reliable, ready to work crews to help maintain properties to our high-quality standards!
Job responsibilities:
- Preferred: Valid drivers' license and cleared to drive under company insurance.
- Preferred: 1 year irrigation experience
- Ability to work with various brands and types of irrigation systems.
- Job will include irrigation startups, shutdowns, backflow certification a plus.
- Traditional and 2-wire irrigation systems knowledge.
- Required to communicate effectively with customers and Property Worx teams.
- Ability to diagnose and repair irrigation issues and utilize additional skills across other areas such as electrical, horticulture, water conservation and plumbing.
- Job duties may include: mowing using commercials walk behind/standing mowers, push mowers, line trimmers, stick edger, backpack blowers, and hedge trimming.
- Bed maintenance work including: weeding, spraying, debris pick up, bed edging, mulching, pruning, leaf removal, planting and flower install.
- Snow removal service work available during winter months.
- Able to lift 50 pounds, be able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours a day and capable of working outdoors in hot/cold extreme conditions
- Ability to work Monday thru Friday with weekends during peak season including holidays.
- Prior irrigation experience and a willingness to learn and grow in other aspects of landscape maintenance is a plus
Job type and schedule: Full-time / Monday thru Friday with weekends and holidays during peak season
Compensation: Based on prior job skills and insurability
