Service Manager – Oakland, CAEnsure the smooth and efficient operation of facilities and equipment through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, encompassing tasks like plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Key ResponsibilitiesPerforming regular checks, inspections, and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and machinery. Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues promptly. Maintaining and repairing building systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems. Maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and tools used in the facility. Ensuring that all equipment and systems are maintained to meet safety standards and regulations. Maintaining an inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Working with other team members, contractors, and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities. Responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests and ensuring minimal downtime. Installing new equipment or machinery as needed. Identifying and resolving maintenance issues efficiently and effectively. Communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients regarding maintenance issues and progress Required Skills Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
