Growing, successful New Britain based property management company is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for performing building management and maintenance tasks such as self-generating and completing work orders and other related duties as assigned at multiple properties.
Responsibilities:
- Customer service and tenant relations
- Perform operational and quality checks on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Coordinate deliveries from vendors and suppliers
- Maintain documents of inspections
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
Qualifications:
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for resolving maintenance issues
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented with organizational and time management skills
