We are seeking a versatile Lab & Assembly Technician to support our engineering team in developing cutting-edge battery technology and electronics. What You'll Do
- Assemble and rework electronic components, including soldering, crimping, and creating wire harnesses.
- Conduct tests on circuit boards and electronic systems, logging results and generating test reports.
- Develop and maintain spec sheets for internal and external use.
- Create and manage internal databases using Excel and Word for documentation purposes.
- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics of electronic systems.
- Support the team by maintaining lab equipment, organizing supplies, and ensuring smooth lab operations.
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or at least 2 years of undergraduate coursework in progress toward a relevant degree.
- Advanced proficiency in soldering and rework, including fine-pitch components, surface mount (SMT), and through-hole soldering.
- Hands-on experience with rework stations and techniques for PCB repair and modification.
- Familiarity with testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies) and logging results.
- Strong skills in Word and Excel for documentation and databasing.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in creating and interpreting spec sheets for electronics.
- Knowledge of wire harness design and troubleshooting techniques.
- Previous experience in a lab technician or test engineering role.
- $25-30 per hour, depending on experience.
Salary : $25 - $30
