Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and responsible alcohol service; address any issues promptly and professionally.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events such as banquets or catering functions.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while ensuring efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a bartender or in food service within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days.
- Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced environments efficiently.
- Experience with brewing or beverage crafting is a plus but not required.
