Cannabis Packaging Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cannabis Packaging Specialist to join us on our journey to transform our bold ambitions for the Missouri medical and recreational cannabis market into a reality.

Our Cannabis Packaging Specialist will work out of our warehouse location in Festus. Full-time employees will receive medical benefits, paid time off, and a starting rate of $17.50/hr. The job is Monday - Thursday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Weigh, assemble, package, seal, and label products.
• Safely operate and maintain packaging equipment.
• Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws.
• Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the facility and production areas.
• Immediately inform the Packaging Manager of any system discrepancies.
• Efficiently and effectively package cannabis products meeting production standards.
• Confirm packages are labeled and identified correctly.
• Ensure METRC data is current and correct.
• Prepare all packaging materials in advance of production.
Assist in other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED;
• General knowledge or passion for cannabis;
• Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID card by start date;
• Must be 21 years of age or older;
• Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment;
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Strong process orientation;
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
