EST / CST / PST (Remote with travel across USA) - Candidate willing to travel in thier time zone as per client need
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Hardware & Field Support Engineer to support data center operations across multiple client locations in the USA. The role involves on-site rack & stack work, hardware installation, cabling, and support for network infrastructure. Candidates must be willing to travel as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform rack & stack installations of servers, network devices, and other data center hardware.
Install, route, and terminate structured cabling (fiber and copper).
Configure, install, and troubleshoot Cisco networking equipment.
Support power setup, including AC/DC power connections and equipment power-on validation.
Ensure all deployments follow data center standards, safety procedures, and best practices.
Conduct hardware inventory checks and assist in equipment movement (up to 50 lbs).
Provide on-site field support during deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Travel to multiple data center/client locations across the U.S. as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
2 years of experience in data center hardware installation (rack & stack).
Strong knowledge of Cisco devices and structured cabling standards.
Familiarity with power systems, cable management, and basic network troubleshooting.
Ability to lift and handle equipment up to 50 lbs.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.
