Chapa Service Company is a growing Commercial HVAC provider in the Dallas area. We are actively interviewing someone to join our team as an Estimator. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the team and help drive the success of the company. As our Estimator, you’ll play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This position requires strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and proficiency in various construction management software. The ideal candidate solid prior knowledge of the HVAC, Construction or Mechanical Service Industry. The position is full time in our office in Garland, TX.
Responsibilities:Requirements:
- Develop detailed project plans and estimates, and budgets to track progress.
- Collaborate with project managers to create project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Understand Commercial HVAC design principles, and be knowledgeable in Commercial HVAC estimating
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary data for accurate estimates as well as to inspect work progress and quality of install.
- Review and negotiate vendor quotes
- Review contracts and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, revisions, and related documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members throughout the estimating process.
- Heavy scheduling, logistics and procurement of equipment and materials
- Shop drawing and submittal review and coordination
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Proven experience in the HVAC industry or a similar role. Ideally 5 years’ experience in commercial HVAC estimating/project management.
- Understanding of commercial HVAC systems, Hydronics and Plumbing Systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office with knowledge of spreadsheets, projects and presentation software.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Field Pulse and Service Titan
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, contract management, and construction estimating.
- Solid understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
