Pronto has emerged in the insurance market through its captive agencies, independent agents, and franchise locations. JOB DESCRIPTION: COMMERCIAL UNDERWRITING  

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure that all captive & independent agencies are correctly writing new and current policies




• Communicate critical policy documents to our customers and agents




• Provide world-class customer service to our customers and agents




• Understand, follow and enforce the Underwriting Guidelines




• Acknowledge potential risk alerts within policies to management




• Effectively manage and communicate various reports assigned by management




• Provide Product & Procedure Assistance to Sales Force




• Learn all product knowledge 




• Effectively operate the Pulse system; managing policies, processing payments, providing accurate information, etc.




• Calls to and from the agencies, request inspection, review inspections and photos for compliance, process for notices and reporting

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• P&C licensed




• minimum experience of 1 year in the following types of insurance:

                     -Commercial Automobile

                     -RV’s and Mobile Home

                     -Flood Insurance

                     -Renters Insurance

                     -Commercial General Liability

                     -E&O Policy

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written




• Computer Proficiency




• Must be bilingual in English & Spanish, required.
