Job Summary
Pronto Glass System in Lawrenceville, GA, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Glass Installer to join our team. This role involves working on residential projects throughout the Atlanta metro area, focusing on the installation, replacement, and sealing of various types of glass. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining safety standards on every job site.
Responsibilities
- Replace insulated glass units (double-pane glass) in vinyl and wood windows.
- Remove damaged or fogged glass, prepare openings, and install and seal replacement glass effectively.
- Measure accurately, including fractions of an inch, to ensure proper fit and installation.
- Install window and door glass, assisting with full window replacements as needed.
- Safely handle glass materials and tools throughout all phases of installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Prior experience in glass installation or related construction work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to measure precisely, including fractions of an inch, for accurate installations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable transportation to travel throughout the Atlanta metro area for various job sites.
