Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for the selling of services related to our On-Demand Delivery and Courier business, with the goal of developing a book of business and continually filling a sales pipeline for new business – creating opportunities to penetrate the market and increase revenue for the company.

Responsibilities and Duties

The focus of this position is the selling of delivery and courier solutions to clients and prospecting for new business.

The strategies may include cold-calling and prospecting daily, lead generation through relationship selling processes, face-to-face client visits, and telesales.

To perform their job successfully, this sales executive must establish and maintain customer relationships, assess client specific needs, and promote the services of the organization to achieve personal and company sales goals.

They evaluate and anticipate clients’ needs, with the goal of creating a book of business around their interests and creatively selling the services of the organization to clients and prospects.

They are also responsible for developing effective ways to transport customers’ freight, utilizing the organization’s services.

This position often involves quoting pricing and negotiating with customers in order to maximize profitability.

There is a significant requirement for enhanced customer service in this role. Candidates should understand what it means to serve people and cause them to want to continue doing business with us.

This involves handling complaints, escalating as needed, and following through with delivery and providing support to clients as needed.

The specific tasks, duties, and responsibilities that commonly define this sales role include:


  • Drive, passion, energy, daily engagement, and desire to win! This simply means you will do everything in your power to convince a potential customer to make a buying decision in our favor. Your personality and your personal hunger for success will define your day, along with the selling strategies that could bring you a level of satisfaction you have dreamed about. The
  • Responsible for identifying and initiating sales calls to prospective clients.
  • Prospect for leads and perform heavy cold calling to build a pipeline of businesses.
  • Supervise accounts daily to retain existing relationships.
  • Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers.
  • Responsible for creating sales goals to aid in achieving targets.
  • Uphold rapport with clients and prospects.
  • Nurture new sales leads to secure business.
  • Responsible for offering quotes to current and prospective clients.
  • Responsible for supervising shipments (as required) until delivery is completed to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Carry out research to identify companies not currently doing business with the organization.
  • Use CRM to effectively manage tasks and messaging through various means to clients.

Qualifications and Skills

  • No experience? Experience would be good, but we can teach you. You just need to have an incredible winning attitude and desire to succeed. We will look for candidates that have a desire to improve their lives.
  • Have you sold before? You do need to be teachable and trainable and have a passion for customers.
  • If you can communicate effectively at any level, you can be a winner here.
  • Solid computer skills with MS Office software; good experience with sales automation, customer relationship management, and other web-based software programs. These things will be necessary and valuable in your day-to-day activities.
  • Sociable personality with a history of developing relationships is a plus.
  • Are you analytical and a problem solver? Can you manage stressful situations while putting the needs of the customer first? If so, you need to apply. 

The base salary is starting at $40k per year, with a 10% commission on top line sales. If you are strong in the sales process, you can be very successful. We have reps making into the 6 figures.
