Role Overview
The SAP BASIS Administrator provides hands-on technical support for SAP system administration, monitoring, and maintenance. This role works under the guidance of the BASIS Supervisor and supports enterprise SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily SAP BASIS administration tasks
- Monitor system performance, availability, and background jobs
- Manage transports, client copies, and system refreshes
- Support SAP upgrades, patches, and kernel updates
- Troubleshoot BASIS-related incidents and issues
- Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams
- Maintain system documentation and operational procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 Yars of Hands-on SAP BASIS administration experience
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
- Unix/Linux operating system knowledge
- Familiarity with SAP monitoring and backup tools
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
