What are the responsibilities and job description for the SQL Developer position at Pronix Inc?
Immediate need for a MS SQL Developer in Pennington, NJ (Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days remote) and only W2 role.
Responsibilities
- looking for 7 years of experience (don’t want anyone too junior but also don’t want anyone too senior)
- Must have “Strong SQL Server and SSIS experience..Heavy database developer.. and Tableau MicroStrategy is a big plus
- 5 years of experience in Microstrategy reporting or similar
- Experience with Autosys, BIDS/SSIS, TFS, C# and familiarity with object oriented database design and development
- Experience in database and query optimization
- Familiarity with IT Infrastructure management domain
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Solid understanding of data architecture, efficient database design, writing complex queries and query tuning and troubleshooting
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance, in understanding requirements provided by Business Analysts and writing ETL programs to source data from upstream database systems as well as data sourced with various file formats such xml, csv, etc.
- MSSQL Server 2019 or higher
- SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
