We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pool Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of swimming pools and related equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool maintenance, including water testing, chemical balancing, and cleaning to ensure optimal water quality and clarity
- Inspect and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and circulation systems using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct regular pool cleaning tasks including skimming, brushing walls, vacuuming, and debris removal
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pool systems and execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime
- Maintain detailed service records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for each client site
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to protect yourself and clients’ property
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing of pools as needed, ensuring proper preparation for peak usage periods
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Prior service technician experience in pool maintenance or related field preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools necessary for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Strong understanding of pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing procedures
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple service appointments efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred for travel between job sites
