INTERNSHIP SUMMARY
Prometheus Summer Internship Program is a paid program that will provide you with an inside look at the real estate operations of Prometheus, the largest private owner of multi-family properties in the Bay Area. The internship is intended to provide a unique opportunity to earn valuable experiences by working directly with the department managers on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will focus on providing assistance to your immediate department in the execution of daily tasks and support of internal and external customers by collaborating with others on providing outstanding service to our Prometheans, Neighbors, and Vendors. Areas of learning will include becoming familiar with varying types of real estate transactions and their associated documents, and cross-functionality in a diverse working environment. This role will require you to work up to 40 hours per week, for a duration of 9-12 weeks.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Operations Services Intern, you will focus on developing an understanding of the following core competencies of our operations:
- Administrative Duties – You’ll assist our Operations team with administrative duties essential to the operations of property management of our Neighborhoods, including lease administration and daily operations. Including Future Neighbor approval, lease work preparation, Neighbor account ledgers, and completion of forms.
- Contracts – You’ll complete the contract process from start to finish. Including updating reports and providing feedback on enhancements to the contract process.
- Neighborhood Audit Responsibilities – You will assist in the audit process of our Neighborhood’s including daily operations, processes, and compliance of policy and procedures. Preparation and compilation of reports for communication of audit
- Special Audit Responsibilities – You will assist in audits of our operations systems that affect our teams. Providing feedback and recommendations for ultimate functionality.
- Presentation - Over the course of your internship, you will create a capstone presentation that you will present to the executive team.

- Currently enrolled in an accredited university with a sophomore, junior or senior standing
