Role Overview

The Lead Florist & Studio Production Lead is responsible for overseeing floral production and studio execution for approved projects, ensuring that designs are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with Bellisima Fiore’s creative standards. This role bridges creative direction and hands-on production, translating approved designs into consistent, high-quality floral work.

The Lead Florist serves as the primary executor of the Founder & Creative Director’s vision within the studio and on-site.

Core Responsibilities

Floral Production & Execution

• Execute floral designs based on approved recipes, mockups, and creative direction
• Lead studio prep days and on-site installations as assigned
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across all floral pieces
• Maintain proper floral care, conditioning, and handling standards
  
  

Studio & Team Leadership

• Supervise assistants and freelance florists during prep and installation
• Delegate tasks efficiently to meet production timelines
• Maintain a calm, organized studio environment during high-volume periods
• Provide hands-on guidance to junior team members
  
  

Quality Control & Brand Standards

• Uphold Bellisima Fiore’s aesthetic, craftsmanship, and presentation standards
• Flag discrepancies or challenges to the Operations Manager or Founder promptly
• Ensure final installations reflect approved designs and brand expectations
  
  

Inventory & Logistics Support

• Assist with inventory tracking, tools, vessels, and floral supplies
• Coordinate with Operations on sourcing, pickups, and prep schedules
• Maintain studio cleanliness and readiness
  
  

Decision-Making Authority

The Lead Florist Has Authority Over

• Production workflow during prep and installs
• Task delegation within the floral team
• Execution decisions needed to maintain quality and timing
  
  

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong technical floral skills with event experience
• Excellent time management and leadership presence
• Comfortable working under creative direction
• Calm under pressure and solution-oriented
• Prior experience as a senior florist or event lead preferred
