What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver position at ProMed Transport?
Looking for a Transport Driver Homebased in Lebanon, Albany, or Corvallis
Duties:
-Must have open availability Monday through Friday
-Must have open availability from 6:00am to 6:00m, no restrictions. Before light and after dark rides due occur. Rides will be scheduled during that time frame.
-Must have open availability Monday-Friday, no restrictions.
- Safely transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner.
-Working knowledge of the local cities, roads and routes in appreciated.
- Operate various types of vehicles, including mini vans.
- Follow designated routes and schedules set in place per contract guidelines.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit while staying professional at all times.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed, some clients require more support and compassion due to disabilities.
- Maintain strict daily cleanliness/sanitizing and orderliness of the vehicle, following company and contract standards. Random inspections performed to verify compliance.
- Perform mandatory routine daily pre trip and post DOT inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle.
Skills:
Must between the ages of 25 and 70 for insurance coverage.
Must be able to pass pre employment alcohol and drug screening
Must be able to pass Federal and State Background check
Must be able to pass a DMV check for the last 7 years, no accidents/no tickets/no infractions
Valid OREGON driver's license for the last 5 years
- Experience in customer service, with skills in positive communication
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and professionally with passengers and co-workers
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients
- Ability to handle light lifting, such as assisting clients with mobility devices
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in stressful situations
- Commercial driving experience is desirable but not required
Commission Based Pay: $2,800-$3,100 BEFORE taxes
Wage Payout: Monthly-12 Month Payroll Schedule Provided
