We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Manager to join our innovative, fast-growing MRI company, Promaxo. As Clinical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our clinical strategy as we revolutionize office-based MRI and robotic-guided procedures. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and partnering closely with the COO, you will build a team of clinical application specialists, support clinical cases on-site, build and nurture key clinical relationships, design and deliver world-class training programs, and drive the collection of clinical evidence to support regulatory filings and new product launches. This highly visible, hands-on leadership position requires a passionate clinical expert who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and is ready to travel up to 70% to accelerate our clinical impact nationwide.
Duties
You will be expected to perform general duties related to Promaxo’s clinical science such as but not limited to:
- Support clinical cases on-site.
- Actively manage and expand key opinion leader (KOL) and clinical site relationships.
- Provide product feedback from customers to product specialists and clinical R&D teams.
- Design, develop, and actively manage best-in-class training and education programs for clinical applications.
- Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer in building a robust clinical science program and team.
- Gather and analyze clinical evidence to support regulatory filings (FDA, CE Mark, etc.).
- Partner with CCO and Marketing on clinical launch strategy for new products and applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN), Radiology Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related clinical/health science field.
- Active clinical licensure/certification (e.g., RN, RT(R)(MR), ARRT, or equivalent).
- Minimum 7 years of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging, with at least 3 years specifically in MRI.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical applications, training, or medical device field support role within the medical imaging or robotics industry.
- Proven track record of building and delivering clinical training programs.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with urologists, radiologists, and administrative stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically 60–70% (including some weekends as needed).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up/scale-up environment with rapidly evolving priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MSN, MBA, MHA, or equivalent).
- Direct clinical experience with prostate MRI, MRI-ultrasound fusion biopsy (e.g., UroNav, Koelis, Artemis), or MRI-targeted prostate procedures.
- Prior experience supporting robotic-assisted procedures (urology or radiology).
- Experience with FDA 510(k), PMA, or De Novo submissions and clinical evidence generation.
- Previous people-management experience (leading clinical application specialists or similar teams).
- Published research or presentations at major urology/radiology conferences (AUA, RSNA, SIU, etc.).
- Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820) and/or clinical trial management.
- Existing KOL relationships in urology or radiology.
Travel
You are expected to accommodate a minimum of 60–70% business-related travel.
