Production Associate- Mixing

 PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

We are seeking a Production Operator – Mixing to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring quality and on-time delivery of products to our customers. The position is labor-intensive and performed in a non-climate-controlled environment. Candidates must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. regularly and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. The position of Production Operator encompasses multiple tasks that drives quality and on time delivery of product to the customer.  The individual must be able to communicate production status and problems to proper personnel. 

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety requirements and participate in safety activities (audits, talks, observations).

• Follow standard operating procedures for all assigned tasks.

• Operate equipment and processes with minimal supervision.

• Monitor machine parameters and resolve processing issues to maintain efficiency.

• Inspect materials and products during processing to detect defects or equipment malfunctions.

• Perform basic equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.

• Record and maintain production run data accurately.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Recommend or implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.

• Keep records of hours worked, production output, scrap, and quality control data.

• Interpret job orders and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. regularly

• Understanding of production methods and techniques

• Strong commitment to safety and compliance

• Clear and concise communication skills; ability to manage conflict effectively

• Team player with proven collaboration skills

• Self-motivated and driven

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Lean Manufacturing experience

• 3–5 years of production experience in a high-performance manufacturing or processing environment

• Ability to understand and interpret math conversions

• Forklift experience and/or certification
