Quality Assurance Associate – Meat Packaging
Location: Budd Lake, NJ
Pay: $16.50/hour
Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Schedule: Monday-Friday Mandatory Saturdays
Work Environment: Refrigerated meat manufacturing and packaging facility

We are currently hiring Quality Assurance Associates for a fast-paced meat packaging facility in Budd Lake, NJ. Job Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks throughout the production and packaging process
- Inspect meat products, packaging, labels, and dates to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards
- Monitor production areas to ensure adherence to company procedures, GMP regulations, and sanitation requirements
- Complete quality documentation, reports, and production records accurately
- Identify and communicate quality concerns, safety issues, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors
- Verify proper packaging materials are being used for each product
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality control, hygiene, and PPE requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Work closely with production staff to ensure all products meet company and customer standards
Requirements
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous Quality Assurance, Quality Control, food production, meat processing, or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, GMP-regulated production environment
- Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated facility and moderate to high noise levels
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Must be reliable with excellent attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday and mandatory Saturdays
