About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and professional Licensed Sales Agent to join our client’s team in Chesterfield, VA. This position is ideal for someone who is driven, customer‐focused, and eager to grow within the insurance industry. The right candidate will excel at building relationships, delivering exceptional service, and meeting established sales goals.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22–$26 per hour (based on experience) 50% commission on new business
Location: On site | Chesterfield, VA 23832
Licensed P&C Sales Agent Job Responsibilities:
- Developing insurance quotes, delivering sales presentations, and closing new business.
- Growing a strong pipeline through telephone prospecting, referrals, and networking with external centers of influence.
- Responding to client inquiries, resolving concerns, or directing issues to the appropriate resource.
- Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain long‐term relationships.
- Building strong rapport from a cold start with both prospective and existing clients.
- Meeting or exceeding business production goals and targets set by management.
· Eventually being comfortable with public speaking, representing the agency at events or presenting to small groups when needed.
Licensed P&C Sales Agent Job Requirements:
- Active Property & Casualty License required; Life License is a plus.
- 1 years of Insurance Sales experience (independent agency experience strongly preferred).
- Strong computer and technology proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor in all interactions—phone, email, and in‐person.
