MIG Welder- Temp to Hire

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well‐established manufacturing company to hire a Temp‐to‐Hire MIG Welder in Lombard, IL.

We are hiring an EXPERIENCED MIG Welder for our client in Lombard, IL. 1st shift, $20.00–$21.50 per hour based on experience.

MIG Welder Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum components following blueprints and specifications
• Assemble and fabricate metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality, safety, and company standards
• Operate chop saws and other cutting tools safely (training provided)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols
• Comply with all company quality, safety, and work rules and regulations
• Lift materials up to 50 lbs (team lifting procedures in place for heavier items)

MIG Welder Qualifications:

• 1 year of MIG welding experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using shop tools such as chop saws and grinders
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout an 8‐hour shift
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 1st  & 2nd shift available- 7AM-3:30PM & 4PM-12:30AM
• Overtime available during peak production periods
