Location: Rock Hill, SC
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days & Nights (varied shifts)
Weekly Pay:
- $1,957 (36 hours – PM shift)
- $2,608 (48 hours) – Weekly Gross
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Rock Hill, SC. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience in respiratory care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment, providing critical support to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments
- Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation
- Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests, and pulse oximetry
- Respond to emergencies including code blue and rapid response situations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to develop and adjust care plans
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Required Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
- Experience in acute care or hospital setting required
- Strong experience with ventilators, critical care, and emergency response
- Ability to work both day and night shifts
Required Certifications & Licensure
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Required (NBRC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required
- South Carolina Respiratory Care License – Required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ICU, ER, or critical care environments
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
