Our client is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager – Japanese Bilingual to support supply chain solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in project management, supply chain operations, and digital transformation, along with strong business-level Japanese and English communication skills.
This role requires someone who can work effectively with business leaders, IT teams, external vendors, and global stakeholders across North America and Asia-Pacific.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-regional digital transformation projects.
- Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Act as a key liaison between business users, IT teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
- Facilitate business requirements gathering, workshops, meetings, and steering committee sessions.
- Coordinate projects across multiple time zones and business units.
- Translate business requirements into actionable project deliverables.
- Drive process improvement initiatives across supply chain functions.
- Monitor project progress and provide status updates to leadership.
- Ensure business objectives are aligned with technology solutions.
- Support change management, user adoption, and stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate with global teams across North America and Asia-Pacific.
Required QualificationsProject Management
- 5 years of experience managing large-scale business or IT transformation projects.
- Experience managing cross-functional and international teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project methodologies.
- Strong project planning, risk management, budgeting, and delivery experience.
Supply Chain Experience
Strong understanding of one or more of the following:

Japanese & English
Must have business-level Japanese and English proficiency, both spoken and written.

- Automotive OEM or automotive supplier experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with supply chain transformation projects.
- Experience working with global teams across North America and Asia-Pacific.
- Experience with ERP or supply chain platforms such as:

- Kinaxis
- Blue Yonder
- Manhattan
- Microsoft Power Platform
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
